The one-month pilot testing of Lesodia demonstrated the platform’s potential to address key challenges in special education by successfully maintaining a 1:10 tutor-to-student ratio, reducing tutoring costs by 33.3%, and improving student performance by an average of 41.7%. While the system proved effective in enforcing structural goals and facilitating progress tracking, limited user adoption—particularly in early payment engagement—highlights the need for expanded testing, improved user onboarding, and stronger trust-building measures. These findings form the basis for concluding that Lesodia is a promising but still evolving solution for accessible, individualized SPED support.

General Objective: Decrease the tutor-to-learners ratio in tutoring settings to a maximum of 1:10

Table 1: Student Assignments

Table 1 visually demonstrates Lesodia's enforcement of a maximum tutor-to-learner ratio of 1:10. Each tutor's current student load is displayed, and as shown, no tutor exceeds the limit of 10 students. This constraint reflects Lesodia's deliberate design, which restricts each tutor to a maximum of 10 active student assignments at any given time, ensuring personalized attention and maintaining educational quality standards across the platform.

Specific Objective 1: Reduce the cost of special education tutoring by implementing a pricing structure that decreases current rates by 20%.

Table 2: Payment Transactions

The Payment Transactions table displays financial data for tutor Kim Sumagang with a rate range of ₱150-₱300. Two identical transactions are recorded, each with a payment amount of ₱200.00, resulting in a savings percentage of 33.3% compared to the maximum rate. The average savings across these transactions is calculated at 33.3%, indicating consistent pricing within the established range. This data demonstrates that the payment system effectively maintains costs at approximately one-third below the maximum potential rate, providing significant financial benefits while ensuring fair compensation within the tutor's acceptable range.

Specific Objective 2: Increase the academic scores of the learners by 50% with the use of documentation shared by teacher and tutor.

Table 3: Student Progress Overview

The Student Progress Overview displays a table with columns for Student Name, Assessment, and Improvement, summarizing each student’s performance based on the number of assessments taken and the percentage increase in scores. For instance, Troy Montibon showed a 33.3% improvement, while Krist Sanchez reached a 50% improvement. At the bottom, the "Average Improvement" row reports an overall average increase of 41.7%. The improvement is calculated using the formula: Improvement Percentage = ((Tutor Score - Original Score) / Original Score) × 100, which reflects the effectiveness of tutoring interventions and documentation sharing. While Krist Sanchez met the 50% target, the average result, though slightly below the goal, indicates significant academic progress. These findings suggest that the collaborative documentation strategy has a strong positive impact when implemented consistently.

The pilot deployment of Lesodia, aimed at decreasing the tutor-to-learner ratio to a maximum of 1:10, has shown strong adherence to this objective. As seen in Table 1, no tutor exceeds the 10-student limit, with Kim Sumagang currently working with two student, while Melissa Bautista has no students assigned. This demonstrates Lesodia’s commitment to maintaining a manageable tutor load, ensuring personalized attention for each learner, which is crucial for fostering quality educational experiences.

In terms of reducing the cost of special education tutoring by 20%, the platform has exceeded expectations. Table 2 illustrates that Kim Sumagang’s rates, ranging from ₱150 to ₱300, consistently result in a payment amount of ₱200, reflecting a savings of 33.3% compared to the maximum rate. This pricing structure effectively offers significant financial benefits, ensuring that the tutoring services remain affordable while still compensating tutors fairly. The average savings percentage confirms that the cost reduction target has been met and even surpassed, benefiting both students and tutors.

Regarding academic progress, Lesodia has made progress in achieving the goal of improving learner scores by 50% through shared documentation between teachers and tutors. Table 3 reveals that while Krist Sanchez reached the target with a 50% improvement, Troy Montibon showed a 33.3% improvement. The average improvement of 41.7% indicates that while the goal was not fully achieved across all students, the tutoring interventions and shared documentation strategy had a positive impact. This suggests that while the approach is effective, further adjustments could help more students reach the 50% target.

Moving forward, Lesodia’s efforts will focus on refining its strategies to maintain a balanced tutor-to-learner ratio, improve academic outcomes, and ensure that cost reductions are sustained. The data shows that while significant progress has been made, continued improvements will be necessary to meet all of the platform’s educational and financial objectives.
